Infectious Disease Policy & Response Plan

The Safety and Health: Infectious Disease Policy and Response Plan is a policy that employers can use in their employee handbook, or as a standalone policy, which outlines the company's policy related to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases or illnesses. This policy takes into account the risks of the industry and jobs, individual employee risk factors, and includes controls necessary to address those risks. The Safety and Health: Infectious Disease Policy will be updated, as needed, to reflect current guidance on infection prevention and hygiene practices from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
